Breakage Chance?

Has anyone spaded the chance of the pieces breaking? --Killerrabbit 09:42, 9 June 2007 (CDT)

Outfit Bonus

Oufit seems to give +combat init. (or at least take away the negative effects of the outfit pieces, like the garbage outfit) I got the jump on every giant for over 20 adventures with no other +init.--Darkness 04:56, 20 September 2006 (CDT)

  • The individual items seem to be zappable into each other. -Sodyakaflyta

+15 str, it seems. As for the combat init, i've got no jump on monsters in the 20 adv i've tested the complete outfit.--Worthstream 10:13, 20 September 2006 (CDT)

  • It seems more likely to me that it increases melee damage. I used to do about 50-60 damage to creatures in the Haunted Gallery with 179 Muscle (buffed from 141) without the Antique Arms and Armor, and I'm doing about 80-150 with the Arms and Armor. --PFC Walker 11:24, 20 September 2006 (CDT)

"Ho! Ha-ha! Guard! Turn! Parry! Dodge! Spin! Ha! Thrust! You do 126 damage. BIFF! BARF! POW! KERBLAM! ZOT! POW! SPLAT! BIFF! SOCKO! KAPOW! Your opponent looks weaker..." I'm guessing that it delevels the opponent with successful hit, as well as negates the individual defienciencies of the items.--s0crates 16:15, 20 September 2006 (CDT)

  • Please note the spear delevels on its own as such until there is more spadign I'm removing that part.--Practitioner of Saucy Arts 07:04, 21 September 2006 (CDT)

Does the damage-increasing feature of this outfit apply to SC smacks? --Emtu 13:23, 21 September 2006 (CDT)

I'm not getting double melee damage. My damage is about the same (disregarding the +str) with our without the outfit on, as a SC. -Holler 13:57, 23 September 2006 (CDT)

I seem to be doing about the samge about of melee damage in a normal hit as I do with LTS when I use the armor. Could it just be that percent melee damage works like crit hit chance? Only the highest modifer applies. --CluckyB 11:07, 25 September 2006 (CDT)

Working on the simple notion of making a logical guess, it most likely provides a combat initiative advantage to offset its shortcomings, though this is hard to test based on the items being generally end game items and when your primary stat is in excess of a monster mus? it affects initiative. Anyhow just a thought more than anything else.--Practitioner of Saucy Arts 15:47, 23 September 2006 (CDT)

What was your removal of the 2x Melee Damage from the Antique Arms And Armor outfit based on? --Gymnosophist 11:43, 1 October 2006 (CDT)

  • I put the outfit on, it didn't do anything of that sort. Besides, "2x melee damage"? That's way too damn powerful to be mistaken. Whoever put in that note was possibly using an inferior weapon at the time. --UglyPanda 11:55, 1 October 2006 (CDT)
    • OK, thanks. In that case, I'll remove the bonus from the See Also section and the Outfit page as well. --Gymnosophist 12:05, 1 October 2006 (CDT)

Trick or Treating

Since this Outfit does yeild the Bit o Ectoplasm, and I personally recieved them on the halloween in which this was introduced while utilizing it I'm deleting the modifier may. I don't have a sceeen shot but I think my history with the wiki is a testimony to my general veracity.--Practitioner of Saucy Arts 01:21, 22 September 2006 (CDT)

  • NVM its a poor wording choice on the template to which I tend to be too confused to handle. I'd encourage anyone more experienced than myself to try changing it for greater accuracy.--Practitioner of Saucy Arts 01:24, 22 September 2006 (CDT)

Ouftit Favourites

This is my favourite outfit, especially good for Seal Clubbers And Turtle Tamers. Plus the Awesome Tattoo, cool avvy, and general hardness to acquire so not everybody has it. GREAT.

who gives about Combat initiative? --ChickensAreFluffy 19:12, 22 September 2006 (CDT)

A First?

I do believe this is the first outfit to have more than three pieces to it. I think this should be noted, but I can't seem to add it when I edit the page. Odd. -GG Crono 17:00, 23 September 2006 (CDT)

Added. --'Ivan 09:51, 21 October 2006 (CDT)

I seem to be finding it absolutely impossible to run away while wearing this outfit (even in ridiculously low level areas). Is this a special effect, or the result of the combat initiative being lowered? I'm currently level 20, so I'm starting to suspect that it's not the latter. --sl1me 00:18, 26 September 2006 (CDT)

  • Even the bunnies? If it's a 100% chance there, then it seems rather obvious. --Aabattery 22:30, 10 October 2006 (CDT)
  • I was under the impression that combat initiative does affect the calculations for running away.--Dornbeast 16:39, 13 October 2006 (CDT)
    • As far as I know, inititive bonuses ARE what determines chance of running away - it's the same as the initiative calculation, without the mainstat effect. I think. Or something. Boobies. I know there was a forum thread that directly dealt with it, and I can't be bothered finding it, but this is pretty backed up on the HCO forums and KoLForums somewhere. --Aprocalypse 20:56, 13 October 2006 (CDT)

Can anyone confirm that all of the items in this outfit disappear after an ascension? --Ohthepain 8:52, 3 March 2007 (CDT)

  • no, but i can deny it. what makes you think that it might be true? did you check hagnk's? --Evilkolbot 09:30, 3 March 2007 (CST)
  • I concur with EvilKOLbot. Perhaps it broke? Check hagnks. Everything technically "disappears" during ascension. --Worddoc 13:38, 3 March 2007 (CST)
