Taking Stock of the Trivia Company
Trivial Pursuits LLC was run out of a pretty normal office building -- the actual manufacture of the board games being handled by a bulk printing and distribution plant across town. So it isn't a very large place to search, but tonight it's crawling with goons, which makes things more difficult if you intend to take any kind of a stealthy approach.
Brood | Restore all Bat-Health |
You sneak outside and perch on one of the building's gargoyles. Once again you're pleased with yourself for getting that "Everything Should Have Gargoyles On It" bill passed by the city council. They're just so satisfying to perch on and brood! Then it occurs to you that the bats that live in your Batcavern don't have any gargoyles, and that makes you a little sad for them. Maybe you should get some little gargoyles made! How adorable would that be?? You daydream about that for a while, before remembering you were supposed to be brooding, and put on your grumpiest-looking scowl.
Investigate | +10% Progress |
You sneak through the offices, dashing silently from shadow to shadow until you find a henchman sitting by himself, reading a magazine. You pick up a clipboard from a nearby desk and hold it in front of your face, and growl, "Hey, where's the boss at?"
"Upstairs in his office, I expect," the goon mutters, barely glancing up at you.
"Thanks," you growl, and knock him unconscious with the clipboard.
Gather evidence and whatever else looks useful | +evidence and fibers |
You search through a filing cabinet to see if you can find anything incriminating, and find a thick bundle of file folders labelled "Don't let the cops see these!" So that's pretty handy. Plus, they're bundled up with some really high-quality twine.

A thorough fingerprinting of the room reveals The Inquisitor's thumbprint on an elevator call button, and another one inside on the button for third floor. As the elevator doors shut, you hear one of the mooks wondering aloud where all this white powder came from.
