You're fighting a swamp entityThis is a roughly man-shaped blob of rotting swamp muck and assorted ooze that shouts "HEAP!" as it shambles toward you. You're not sure what its intentions are, but they're probably violent. At minimum, your dry-cleaning bill is going to be immense.

It smashes you in the face with a swamp-muck pseudopod. It hurts, man, and the smell nearly drives you mad. Ugh! (stench damage)
It grabs you in a crushing bear hug. It's a bit like the time you fell in your grandma's compost heap. Ouch! (stench damage)

It starts yammering about elementals and something called the Green. You get so bored you smack yourself in the head, just to feel something. Ugh!
It howls with rage and kicks away a broomstick that was holding up a nearby tumble-down shack. Not unsurprisingly, it tumbles down on you. Argh!

- Since it's apparently not a reference to Swamp Thing, the most likely option is The Heap. Though the first Monster Manuel entry says that it isn't The Heap, either.
