Subscription
Players may arrange a recurring monthly subscription to Kingdom of Loathing, automatically donating their chosen dollar amount in exchange for Mr. Accessories and/or the Item-of-the-Month from Mr. Store.
Subscription management
Subscription management is accessed from the Account tab of the Options menu. Accounts that are currently not subscribed see the following message:

| You can subscribe to the Kingdom of Loathing and we will take your money automatically! For every $10 you will get the Item of each Month or a Mr. Accessory (on or shortly after the 1st of each month)! You will receive an Uncle Buck for each remaining dollar.

Once subscribed, the subscription management menu allows you to change or cancel your subscription.
Further, it displays the Mr. As, IotMs and/or Uncle Bucks you will receive each month and allows you to adjust your preferred quantities of Mr. As and IotMs. These settings can be edited at any time and will apply starting with the next monthly transaction.

Benefits
Subscribers who have opted to automatically receive an Item-of-the-Month will usually be sent the item earlier in the day, before it becomes available in Mr. Store.
Exclusive items
- From December 2015 to March 2016, subscribers received a box of Gratitude chocolates each month in addition to their regular donation reward(s). It contained three each of Gratitude chocolates (thyme-filled), Gratitude chocolates (bourbon-filled) and Gratitude chocolates (Meat-filled), as well as a familiar hatchling.
- On December 2020, subscribers received a subscription cocoa dispenser in addition to their regular donation reward(s).
Notes
- Currently, subscriptions are only processed through the Amazon Payments service.
- Monthly charges and subscription processing occurs when the IotM is ready, usually on the first weekday of the month, barring delays.
- Items are sent to subscribers in a KMail from SubscriptionBot.
- If the Item-of-the-Month costs more than one Mr. A (such as clan items), you will receive Mr. As instead of your requested IotMs with the following message:
- (You've been given Mr. Accessories instead of this month's item because this month's item costs more than one Mr. Accessory.)
