You're fighting a smoke monsterA mysterious vaguely human-shaped cloud of smoke drifts toward you, eerily silent, unnerving in its purposefulness. What could it be? What does it mean? What does it want? Your arms and legs break out in goosebumps as you watch it glide towards you.
Then the effect is somewhat spoiled when the creature emits a hacking, chest-rattling, explosive series of coughs. "Hey, buddy, got a light?" a perfectly normal (if somewhat phlegmy) voice says from within the cloud. "Eh, never mind, found my matches. Let me just take a coupla drags, here, and then I can beat you down."

He wafts his cloud of smoke at you. You cough until you taste blood. Ugh! Ouch! Eek!
The man inside the cloud grabs you and pulls you close, suffocating you in the nauseating, grimy smoke. You try to hold your breath, but you get dizzy and inhale, then collapse. Kids, don't smoke. Oof! Oof! Ugh!

He flicks a cigarette butt at you, but you get your butt out of the way.
He wafts his cloud of smoke at you, but you thank him for not smoking.
A fist emerges from the cloud, but the smoking man can't find his target through the smoke cloud.

The man in the cloud stomps out a cigarette butt and immediately lights a new one.
The man inside the cloud has another long coughing jag, then takes a minute to chew on some nicotine gum so he can stop chain smoking for a few seconds. (FUMBLE!)
