 You're fighting a Slime Mouth

You slide into the tube and land in the mouth of madness. "Madness" being the name you've given to this rudimentary mouth made of Slime.

As you slide into the tube, you hear a wailing and gnashing of teeth. You investigate and find that both noises are being made by a gigantic rudimentary Slime mouth. Apparently, it has a mouth and also must scream. It also must try and beat you down, by the looks of things.

You slide down into the Slime Tube, and land on a strange, tongue-shaped protrusion of the Slime. After a few seconds, you realize that the reason it's tongue-shaped is that it's actually a tongue, and that it's connected to a mouth that's now trying to chew you up.

You slide into the gaping maw of the tube, almost landing in a gaping maw made of Slime. Have you ever noticed how you only ever see gaping maws? You don't see, like, a "kind-of-pursed, like it's trying to whistle" maw. Anyway, you'd better get busy fightin', or get busy being eaten.

You land in the Slime, and mouth off a little about how you're going to loot it. The Slime decides to mouth back, and grows a fearsome maw with teeth made of all kinds of pointy flotsam and jetsam.

You slide down into the Slime Tube and begin to poke around looking for goodies. You see something shiny buried deep within the Slime, and start digging for it. You've managed to dig about six feet down when a bunch of sharp objects suddenly emerge from the sides of the hole and it begins trying to chew on you.

You scramble back up to the surface of the Slime, but the mouth follows you.
