|Locations||The Mist-Shrouded Peak|
You arrive at the top of the Icy Peak in time to see a woman with long black hair absorbing blue light from the body of a giant winged yeti. Her dark blue dress is cut to expose her arms and back, which are covered with oddly shifting tattoos.
"Aren't you cold?" you ask.
Her glossy black hair floats menacingly in the wind as she turns to face you. "No. I have drained this creature of its arcane energy to protect myself from the weather."
"Oh, like that soul power thing the kid in the coat had?"
"Arcane energy. It's different."
"If you say so. But you're definitely another one of those Hurmonts, right? Since you seem a little more willing to converse, I was wondering--"
"I may be of the Hurmont line," she says, expressionlessly. "I do not know. I have no memory of anything except for my mission."
"Which is to kill me."
"Well, that's just great."
She summons a snowball made of arcane energy and throws it at your <lower back>. Come on lady, there is snow everywhere here, you're just showing off! Ugh! Ugh! Ooh!
She summons a sword made of arcane energy and stabs you in the <shins>. It's just a regular stab -- she could have just used a normal sword. Ow! Ugh! Ugh!
She summons a lever made of arcane energy and pries loose a massive frigid boulder, which crushes you. Brrrrrrrrrrr. (cold damage)
She summons a sword made of arcane energy and stabs you in the <shoulder>. It's just a regular stab -- she could have just used a normal sword. (CRITICAL HIT!) Ugh! Ugh! Argh!
She summons a sword made of arcane energy, swings it at your <arse>, and misses.
She summons a lever made of arcane energy, but she can't find a good place to stand in order to use it.
|You acquire an item: red money bag|
- Immune to staggers.
- Undaunted, she continues her assault.
- Appears to have some sort of physical damage resistance (needs spading)
- Appears to have a high chance of hitting regardless of moxie.
- Despite not actually dropping Groar's fur, you still need to visit The Trapper's Cabin to complete the quest, and you will still receive fuzzy earmuffs as expected. This may be an oversight.
