 sea cowbell
This is a bell from the neck of a sea cow. They wear 'em so the sea cowboys will know when they're gettin' along.

Notes
- Stuns the opponent for (one?) turn on use.
- When used on a wild seahorse, no deleveling occurs (though it still stuns), and the following text replaces the normal message:
- First time:
- You ring the cowbell, and the sea horse knocks it out of your hands and you lose it in the swirling muck of the sea floor. Instead of attacking you, however, the seahorse backs off and stares at you.
- Second time:
- You ring the cowbell, and the seahorse knocks it out of your hands. There was less force behind the blow this time, though -- you think he's starting to calm down.
- Third time:
- You ring the cowbell, and the seahorse makes a cursory (though effective) effort to knock the cowbell out of your hands. It is almost entirely subdued, at this point.
- Subsequent times:
- You ring the cowbell, but the seahorse is already as calm as it's going to get. Observing this fact causes you to drop the cowbell into a hole, for some reason.
References
- The enchantment is a reference to the Saturday Night Live sketch More Cowbell. In particular, it features the line "I got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell!"
