All encounters are non-combats, that make use of PirateRealm's special resources -- Guns, Grub, Grog, Glue, Gold.
Each Sailing Adventure will consume one each of Grub and Grog.

Non-combat Adventures
An Opportunity for Dastardly Do
|
|
- Attack them: Fight the civilian ship, gain Grub, Grog, Gold or a Gun on win, +6 Fun. Ship broken on loss, +4 Fun.
- Leave them alone: +3 Fun.

Who Pirates the Pirates?
|
|
- Fire the guns: Fight the pirate ship, gain Gold or a Gun on win, +8 Fun. On loss, either lose Grub, Grog, Gold or ship is broken, +7 Fun.
- Attempt to flee: Sometimes lose Grub or Grog. +5 Fun.

A Sea Monster!
|
|
- Fight it: Gain Gold and unlock plush sea serpent with a bloody harpoon, +10 Fun. Otherwise, fight serpent and gain Grub on win, +8 Fun. Ship is sometimes broken on loss, +7 Fun.
- Flee it!: Sometimes lose Grub or Grog. +5 Fun.

High Tide, Low Morale

|
- Have a feast: Lose 3 Grub, gain 5 fun
- Have a party: Lose 3 Grog, gain 5 fun
- Give everybody bonus wages: Lose 30 Gold, gain 5 fun
- Do a little dance for them: Gain 1 fun twice (relevant if you have Fun-increasing gears).

Stormy Weather (PirateRealm)

- Batten down the hatches: Gain 5 fun.
- Try to gain some extra distance: Fight the storm, gain 8 Fun. Reduce distance on win, ship is broken on loss.
|
Smooth Sailing
|
|
- Have a snack: Lose 1 Grub, gain 5 fun (+2 with Cuisinier)
- Have a cocktail: Lose 1 Grog, gain 5 fun (+2 with Mixologist)
- Do some birdwatching: Free (as in birds). Gain 3 fun (+3 with Wide-eyed)

Like Shops in the Night
|
|
- Buy 5 food: Trade 10 Gold for 5 Grub
- Buy 5 booze: Trade 10 Gold for 5 Grog
- Buy 1 glue: Trade 10 Gold for 1 Glue
- Buy an additional cannon: Trade 200 Gold for 1 Gun
- Sell them the cursed compass: Trade cursed compass for 500 Gold
- Sail away
- Note: The adventure doesn't end until you select Sail away.
- Note: The shop has infinite supplies.

The Starboard is Bare
|
|
- Catch some fish: Gain 5 grub, 1 fun
- Dive for bigger bounty: Gain 1-8 grub, 3 fun
- Note: Occurs with no grub.
- Note: Additional grub with a Gluttonous mate.

Grog for the Grogless
|
|
- Ferment some seawater: Gain 5 grog, 1 fun
- Dive for sunken casks: Gain 1-8 grog, 3 fun
- Note: Occurs with no grog.
- Note: Additional grog with a Cryptobotanist mate.

The Ship is Wrecked
|
|
- Fix it with glue: Lose 1 glue, gain 5 fun
- Wait for assistance: Gain 1 fun
- Note: Does not count as progress toward the next island.

Land Ho!
|
|
- Head Inland: Unlocks the chosen Island.
|
