Combat Messages
- Regular message(s):
- <name> bites <him/her/it> for X damage.
- <name> attempts to bite <him/her/it>, but misses.
- Enthroned in the Crown of Thrones:
- <name> makes like a talented rapper (or a classless hillbilly) and spits some juice. Specifically, he spits it right in your opponent's eye. <He> looks surprised and demoralized by the attack.

- Bjornified in the Buddy Bjorn:
- <name> peeks up above your shoulder and squirts your opponent[sic]? right in the eyes with a fine spray of acidic juice. You opponent seems rather upset by this, not to mention surprised.

- With lucky Tam O'Shanter equipped:
- <name> finds your slain foe's wallet stuck between its vicious fangs.
- With miniature gravy-covered maypole equipped:
- <name> gnashes his sabre-teeth at the maypole. I guess that's the way limes dance.
- With wax lips equipped:
- <name> grins and almost loses his wax lips (they don't fit well over the sabre teeth, you see).
Arena Messages
- When entered in a Scavenger Hunt:
- <name> has no eyes, and so is not exactly the best choice for this event.
Notes
- Damage ranges from int(X/2)+1 to X+2, where X is the familiar's weight.
- The lime will attempt to attack every round. Its chance to hit is 10 * ceiling(wt/6)%. (At 1 pound, it attacks 10% of the time; at 60 pounds, it hits 100% of the time.)
- There exists both a monster and a stuffed version of this familiar. There was once also The Sorceress' Sabre-Toothed Lime.
References
- People often drink tequila with salt and a slice of lime.
