The ground trembles beneath you, and you begin to tremble in fear. Pretty soon, the fear leads to hate, and as a squat little man-shaped rock monster emerges from the ground, you direct your hate at him and steel yourself to deliver a little bit of suffering.
Hit Message(s):
He smashes a pair of scissors and then throws them at you. Ow! Ow! Argh!
For those about to get hit in the ankle by a tiny man made of rock (we salute you.) Ugh! Argh! Ouch!
He stomps on your foot. It's like that time you kicked a rock, but it turned out to be just the top bit of a really heavy rock. Ow! Ow! Eek!
He jumps up and elbows you in the face with a little gravelly arm, then he laughs at you in a little gravelly voice. What a jerk, and what a jerk! Eek! Ow! Argh!
He bangs a part of himself with bits of steel in it against a part of himself with bits of flint in it, and sets your <forehead> on fire. Can you smell what the little rock man is cooking? Yes you can. I'ts[sic] your <ankle>. Ow! Ooh! Argh! (hot damage)
He tries to stomp on your foot, but you stick him where the sun don't shine. By which I mean you shove him back underground.
He tries to hit you with a little rock fist, but you blow him away. To a man his size, your breath is like a hurricane.
He attempts to pound your <leg> with his rocky fists, but you cover him with a piece of paper.
He tries to smack you in the <calf>, but you skip him across a nearby pond.
He lurches toward you, but trips over a piece of moss growing on his foot. I guess walking stones are immune to that proverb. (FUMBLE!)

Notes
- After September 10th, 2009, rock homunculus no longer occur in the game.
- Appeared in mid-high level zones. With a charged magnet, you would fight a homunculus every 25-35 adventures. Without one, you would fight one every 45-55 adventures and would not encounter any until you had spent at least 30 adventures in a specific zone.
- The rock snake appeared on the same schedule, but in low level zones.
