Resting in Peace
You finally get a moment's peace among the graves, and you take a moment to get your bearings.
A gateway to your left says "TO THE BARROW MOUNDS" on the top of it, so you assume there are some barrow mounds in that direction. There's also a stone slab with "TO THE LABYRINTHINE CRYPT" carved into it, which you can only assume means it is the entrance to some kind of serpentine catacomb.
With a FantasyRealm Mage's Hat equipped:
Your hat's heads-up display alerts you to a curious diagram on a nearby tombstone.
With a FantasyRealm Rogue's Mask equipped:
Your mask's heads-up display reveals a hidden path through the tombstones leading to a castle labeled "DUKE VAMPIRE'S CHATEAU."
Weird, there's also a pedestal here with a big red button on it labeled "SECRET QUEST." How did you never see that before?
Plunge into the Labyrinthine Crypt
You trudge down the stairs to the crypt. It's dark down there, so you have to move really slowly and carefully, it takes nearly an hour. Your G.E.M. beeps.
(Unlocks The Labyrinthine Crypt)
Head towards the Barrow Mounds
You head toward the barrow mounds, but end up getting lost and walking in circles for an hour. Your G. E. M. beeps at you in an accusatory tone.
(Unlocks The Barrow Mounds)
Set out for the Vampire Chateau
You screw up your courage and head toward the vampire's castle. And then you screw up the directions and end up lost for an hour. Your G. E. M. beeps.
(Unlocks Duke Vampire's Chateau)
|Rob some graves||[requires FantasyRealm pickaxe]|
You spend an hour digging up graves and robbing them of their precious Rubees. Your G. E. M. beeps, reminding you that you should probably go do something else.
You acquire 40-60 Rubees™
Examine the curious tombstone
You kneel to investigate the tombstone and notice a notebook dropped by the last person to kneel to investigate the tombstone.
You acquire an item: Chewsick Copperbottom's notes
It's the journal of an explorer! It says he was investigating some strange ley line phenomenon in the forest, but first he needed something from some trolls. Curious.
Your G. E. M. beeps.
Press the big red button
If the first button pressed: You press the button, and from somewhere underneath it you hear a man's recorded voice say "Susan, please replace this recording with main quest progress dialog number one."
If the second button pressed:
You press the button, and from somewhere underneath it you hear a woman's recorded voice say "Hey, this is Susan, I'm not sure if this thing is actually working correctly or not, but"
It cuts off abruptly.
If the third button pressed:
You press the button, and from somewhere underneath it you hear a woman's recorded voice say, in an extremely fake British accent, "Great work, adventurer! You're one step closer to rescuing me from the Skeleton Lord's clutches!"
Hmm. You seem to be missing some context, here.
If the fourth button pressed:
You press the button, and from somewhere underneath it you hear a woman's recorded voice say "Look, if the clowns in narrative can't do any better than another dumb damsel-in-distress story, then I don't see why I should bother putting in the effort on these line reads."
If the fifth button pressed:
Fight the Skeleton Lord
Leave for now
You decide there'll be plenty of time for screwing around in graveyards when you're dead, and wander off to do something else.
Occurs at The Sprawling Cemetery.
