paperclip The paperclip is a perfect way to illustrate the linearity of time. It's easy (and fun!) to bend it into various shapes, but damned if you can ever bend it back into anything even remotely resembling a paperclip. Type: usable Cannot be discarded (In-game plural: paperclips)

When Used

• From inventory (single use):

You bend the paperclip into one of those little sproinger things. You know. Those things that are like a triangle, and when you drop them they're all sproing? Those things.

You acquire an item: paperclip sproinger

• Using 10:

You link a bunch of the paperclips together into a dapper-looking necktie.

You acquire an item: paperclip-on tie

• Using 15:

You link a bunch of the paperclips together into a series of connected rings, which you start referring to as a turban.

You acquire an item: paperclip turban

• Using 20:

You link a bunch of the paperclips together into a sheet, then add a little chain to the top so you can wear it as a cape.

You acquire an item: paperclip cape

• Using 25:

You link a bunch of the paperclips together into a shiny, if uncomfortable, pair of pants.

You acquire an item: paperclip pants

• Otherwise:

You can't figure out how to make anything out of that many paperclips. Other than a x-paperclip-long chain of paperclips, of course, but that's not interesting enough to actually do.

Notes

• It takes 70 paperclips to make all pieces of the Paperclippery outfit, equivalent to 350 CRIMBCO scrip.
• Outfit pieces cannot be obtained by zapping.
