You knock on the door of the fallout shelter, hoping someone will let you in before the birds fly off with it. The wheel on top turns and Uncle Crimbo sticks his head up, looking you up and down to make sure you're not a penguin, and/or that you're not hiding a penguin on your person.
"Well, kid, it looks like you saved ol' Uncle Crimbo again," he says. "I don't know what it was that made the Penguin Mafia come after me like that . . ."
"I think it was the way that you stole their money and disappeared," you reply. "Were you down here the whole time?"
"Well, you know, I figured that as the reigning monarch of Crimbo, I couldn't let the penguins get their hands on me and use my Crimbo magic for their nefarious purposes. So I was forced to huddle in here, with nothing to eat but franks 'n' beans, nothing to drink but peppermint schnapps, and nothing to do but listen to old KWE matches."
"That sounds like a grueling ordeal."
"Well, it's all over now. Say, as thanks for helping me out, kid, why don't you take one of my leftover rations kits?"
"That's it? That's my Crimbo Pressie? You know, I think I have one of the Mob Penguin cell phones, here. I'm sure the Don will give me something for turning you in."
"Oh, look, I've got some of the presents that the elves made in the Grimacite factory, before those lazy slackers started calling in mutated. Which one do you want?"
