Combat Messages
  • During combat, on the moons:
<name> suddenly hurls itself at your opponent, slicing with its claws and gnawing savagely with its razor-sharp teeth and dealing X damage. Holy cow, man.
  • Enthroned in the Crown of Thrones:
<name> belches and a lunar isotope falls to the ground at your feet.
Isotope.gifYou acquire an item: lunar isotope
  • Bjornified in the Buddy Bjorn:
<name>'s secondary mouth peeks over your shoulder and hands you a lunar isotope.
Isotope.gifYou acquire an item: lunar isotope
  • At the end of combat:
<name> smiles on the inside. Unlike all other life-forms, it's doing it literally, with its second set of jaws.
<name> hiccups and coughs up something covered in corrosive goo. Your curiosity overcomes your gag reflex and you pick up the device.
Transponder.gifYou acquire an item: transporter transponder
<name> doffs its top hat and gives you a little, "Hello my baby, hello my honey," kicking its legs and singing harmony with its second set of jaws.
<name> bursts through the top of the Tam O'Shanter, winking as he gnaws on the ball on top.
<name> slithers around the Maypole, kicking his tiny little legs.
<name> sticks his second set of jaws through the wax teeth and smiles twice as hard.

Arena Messages

  • None - familiar has no weaknesses.

Notes

  • With the tiny top hat and cane equipped, the Li'l Xenomorph also acts as a Fairy.
  • On the moons, the Li'l Xenomorph attacks 50% of the time for <wt> to <2*wt> damage.
    • Effects that force familiars to act (such as Shortly Stacked) will allow the Xenomorph to attack in any location.
  • Similar to the Green Pixie with tiny bottles of absinthe and Llama Lama with llama lama gongs, or the Baby Sandworm with agua de vida, the base drop rate on transporter transponders per day decreases for every additional transponder you get, but for each turn you spend and do not get a transponder, the drop rate for that transponder increases by 5 percentage points.

References

  • The familiar is a reference to the xenomorph alien creatures from the Alien science fiction franchise.
  • The tiny top hat and cane are a reference to a scene in Spaceballs that parodies Alien, in which a "xenomorph" chestburster performs song and dance in a style similar to that of Michigan J. Frog's in the Merrie Melodies cartoon short One Froggy Evening.
