Notes

• Equips on any familiar except the Comma Chameleon.
• Your familiar will make a deal in approximately 19.1%* of successful combats in appropriate zones.
• "Lets your familiar make deals" causes the familiar to occasionally acquire an extra piece of currency at the end of combat in some zones. Currency items known to be obtained this way are hobo nickels from Hobopolis and sand dollars from underwater zones (even if fighting a wandering monster which doesn't usually drop sand dollars).
• When acquired in a letter: "My dad gave me this -- I told him I wanted a sword and shield kit so I could grow up to be an Adventurer, but he said that was stupid and childish and that there was no future in it. Anyway, this is dumb and boring and you can have it."
