When wearing Knob Goblin Harem Girl Disguise:
You sashay into the Knob Goblin King's throne room, to find him spinning a set of glass spheres on the palm of one hand. He looks up, distracted. "I'll be ready for you in a minute, right after I'm through playing with my --"
"This is a family game," you say, lifting your veil. "The only physical contact we're going to have is my fist with your face."
When wearing Knob Goblin Elite Guard Uniform:
You walk into the Goblin King's throne room. He barely glances at you as you hand him the cake, and buries his piggy little face into it.
"Wait a minute. . ." he says. "This isn't red velvet! This is blue suede! I'll have to report you to your superior officer for this, right after I flog you senseless!"
You doff your helmet for a second so the King can have a look at your face. "Actually, I'm not one of your guards. I'm the adventurer who's going to beat you up and steal your crown."
"But that's not fair!" the King splutters.
"You say that so often . . . one wonders what your basis for comparison is," you say, readying your polearm.
Hit Message(s):
He smacks you square in the <arm> with his sceptre. Ow! Ow! Ugh! Ouch!
He throws his crown like a boomerang. It makes a satisfying ringing sound as it bounces off your <arse>. Ouch! Ow! Ow! Ugh!
He tosses three glass balls at you, hitting you in three different painful locations. Ow! Eek! Ugh! Ouch!
He says if you do as he says, he will be your slave. You point out the opposite would be true, and he punches you. Ouch! Eek! Ugh! Ouch!
He turns into an owl and claws you in the <bung> with his talons. Eek! Argh! Ooh! Ooh!
He hypnotizes you with his giant codpiece, then smacks you with his meaty hand. Eek! Ooh! Ow! Eek!
He produces a glass ball, throws it in the air, and uses his sceptre like a bat to smack it toward you. It strikes you solidly in the <shoulder>. Too bad he didn't strike out with his swing. Eek! Oof! Ouch! Ooh!
He swings his sceptre at you, but you dodge, leaving the sceptre merely a spectre of a threat. Re.
He throws his crown at you, but you catch it and wing it right back.
He tosses three glass balls at you, but none of them hit you.
He tries to mesmerize you with his codpiece, but you avert your eyes.
He says if you do as he says, he will be your slave. You point out that the opposite is actually true.
He turns into an owl, but instead of attacking you, he delivers you some mail.
He juggles his three glass balls in front of you. Before he can throw them, though, his robe opens and reveals another knob goblin sticking his arm out of the robe's sleeve and doing the actual juggling. The king is too embarrassed to attack. (FUMBLE!)

References
- The attack where the Goblin King throws his crown at you could be a reference to a similar attack used by King K. Rool, the final boss in both Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Land.
- The attack where the Goblin King turns into an owl is a reference to the movie Labyrinth, where the goblin king Jareth (played by David Bowie) appears in owl form. The owl delivering mail is a reference to the Harry Potter series of novels, written by J. K. Rowling.
- The glass ball attack is yet another nod to the movie Labyrinth, in which the goblin king Jareth (David Bowie) appears to manipulate glass spheres.
- The fumble message references the fact that David Bowie did not do his own contact juggling in Labyrinth. Michael Moschen, a professional juggler and Labyrinth choreographer, was an 'arm double' for the juggling scenes; he did many of the scenes without being able to see his hands, as he was hiding from the camera behind Bowie.
- The cake choice and colors for the guard uniform intro text might be referencing the movie Blue Velvet.
- "You say that so often . . . I wonder what your basis for comparison is" and "do as I say and I will be your slave" are lines spoken by Jareth in Labyrinth.
