    • As Mosquito:
<name> drinks a bunch of your opponent's blood, and vomits it out into your mouth like a mother bird.
<name> inhales some blood from your opponent and exhales it into you. You're going to need to hit a dry-cleaner after this.
<name> refreshes you with some blood stolen from your opponent. Well... I guess that would be refreshing.
      HPYou gain X hit points.
    • As Lime:
<name> bites your opponent for X. She's got some real chompers, for a gourd.
<name> bites your opponent on the bung (or bung-equivalent) for X.
<name> chomps your opponent for X. You might expect it to be hot damage, but the candle isn't that big.
<name> tries to bite your opponent, but they're keeping well away from her.
<name> tries to bite your opponent, but they're smart enough to stay away from her mouth.
<name> tries to chomp your opponent, but her "teeth" aren't sharp enough to do any damage.
    • As Potato:
<name> grabs your opponent in a tangle of spooky vines and shakes them menacingly.
<name> sprouts a bunch of spooky vines to entangle your opponent!
<name> tangles up your foes for a minute, so you can take a breather.
Your opponent seems unnerved by the way <name> is staring at them.
    • As Cocoabo:
<name> finds some meat. It's not clear where from. Maybe don't ask?
<name> hops up and down excitedly, to indicate some additional meat she's found.
<name> horks a small pile of meat onto the ground.
      Meat.gifYou gain some Meat.
  • After Combat:
    • As Ghuol Whelp:
<name> brightens up the room... and your heart.
<name> glows brightly! It's very encouraging.
<name>'s candle glows brightly, casting fun spooky shadows everywhere.
      HPYou gain some hit points.
      MPYou gain some Mana Points.
    • As Leprechaun:
<name> shoots you a spooky wink. How is a wink spooky? Well, imagine Steve Buscemi doing it. Or Marty Feldman, if you're a little older.
<name> winks at you, which is one of the few things she can do that I don't have to qualify how it would be possible.
<name> winks at you as thought the two of you are sharing a secret. (It's a secret about money.)
    • As Fairy:
<name> does a spooky pirouette. How is a pirouette spooky? Well, remember in The Exorcist when the little girl's head turns all the way around?
<name> performs a spooky halloween dance. Well, a spooky halloween hops-around.
<name> rocks from side-to-side in a way that approximates dancing for a pumpkin.
    • As Volleyball/Sombrero:
<name> smiles. Which is the main thing that Jill-O-Lanterns do, after all. (+Y Stats)
<name> smiles devilishly. Or beatifically? I dunno, whichever you're into. (+Y Stats)
<name> smiles spookily. And spooks smilingly. (+Y Stats)
  • From the first Dude killed per ascension:
Looks like they were getting ready for Halloween. A cool jill-o-lantern light drops from their pack.
Ledcandle.gifYou acquire an item: LED candle
  • After combat (35% chance, divided by 20 for each map dropped this day, up to three):
<name> spits a rolled up piece of paper out of its carved maw.
You notice a piece of paper stuck to <name> and grab it.
<name> wiggles around and you notice a map underneath it.
Warehousemap.gifYou acquire an item: map to a candy-rich block
  • Enthroned in the Crown of Thrones:
From atop your head, a spooky ghost flies out of <name> and gives your foe the jibblies, for 14-19? damage.
  • Bjornified in the Buddy Bjorn:
From aback your back, a spooky ghost flies out of <name> and gives your foe the jibblies, for 14-19? damage.
  • With lucky Tam O'Shanter equipped:
<name> gives you a jaunty wink beneath her jaunty Tam O'Shanter.
  • With miniature gravy-covered maypole equipped:
You give <name> a helpful push, and she rolls around the maypole a few times.
  • With wax lips equipped:
<name> smiles with her wax lips. It's adorable, but they'll melt if you leave them in there too long. (not actually)

Arena Messages

  • None. This familiar has no weaknesses.

Notes

  • Acts in combat 25% of the time. Every activation has an equal chance to be a Mosquito, Lime, or a Cocoabo meat effect.
    • If wearing a LED candle with red light selected, the activation rate increases to 50%.
    • Unlike other effects of this type, the meat-granting effect can happen after round 10, but only once per combat in total.
  • Has a 25% chance each round to act like a Levitating Potato.
  • Y, the amount of stats granted after combat, is the maximum of what Volleyball or Sombrero would grant with the current familiar weight.
