Jewel in the Rough
A sparkle of blue catches your eye, over in the dusty rocks at the edge of town. Pushing away the brush, you discover a beautiful blue torquoise, a breed prized by the people south of the border, who use them to make lumpy, garish, stupid-looking jewelry.

You squat town and cluck your tongue cheerfully at the torquoise until it waddles over to see what's wrong with you. Picking it up, you vow that if anyone's going to make lumpy, garish, stupid-looking jewelry out of this turtle, it's going to be you.
