As you're trudging through the snows of the Icy Peak, you hear a twig snapping behind you. You whirl toward the sound, and see a...
Aaaaaaah! What is that? It's like a yeti, but with massive leathery wings!

You head toward the winged yeti, and it immediately turns and runs away from you. You chase it for a while, but it disappears into the blinding snow.
You return to the spot where you first saw it, and follow its footprints back to... a hideous nest made of human bones. With an even more hideous egg in it.
Yetis don't lay eggs. And even if they did, you have to imagine that they wouldn't make their nests out of human bones, because it's so... impractical.
What's going on here? You take the egg, hoping it will contain a clue, but fearing that what it will actually contain is a hideous winged baby.

You go through the whole rigamarole again, but this time when you get to the yeti's grisly human-bone nest, you find it empty. You know, like in that 80s sitcom. Different Strokes.

"Aaaaaaaaah! Aaaaaaah!" you scream, as you haul ass back down the mountain.
