Interview With You/Vlad

You walk into Vlad's Boutique. There are moth-eaten tapestries on the stone walls and cobwebs everywhere. It smells musty, dank, with a faint underlying odor of something animal and unpleasant. Either you're smelling the shop's proprietor, or he keeps an incontinent bichon frise around the place somewhere.
"Velcome to my vorkshop," Vlad says, rising from behind the counter with a flourish. "Vhat do you vish to purchase?"
"Vell -- er, well, I'm kind of new at this whole thing. What do you suggest?"
You feel tiny hairs tickle your skin as Vlad claps a hand on your arm. "Very vell! Right this vay!" He throws a satin cape over your shoulders and buckles a high collar around your neck. Then he slicks your hair back and draws a little point in the front with a magic marker. "Vhat do you think?"
"Wow, I look wonderful!" you say.
"Vell, you still talk funny, but that's excusable," Vlad replies. "Here are the keys to your rental castle -- be sure to vash and vipe the vindows when you're through vith it! -- have a vonderful evening."
If you arrive after failing at some other tree of this adventure.
You slink back to Vlad's, your metaphorical tail between your metaphorical legs. A cloud of mist outside the door materializes into Vlad, and he blocks your way into his shop. "Vlad, I think I'd like a refund," you say. "This isn't really vorking out for me."
"Ah, see! You have the accent now! You'll be fine. You can't expect to be a vizard at this vithout some practice!" Vlad says. "Now come on. The night is still young! Try again!"
