In the Desert
Near the end of your relaxing vacation at the Distant Lands Dude Ranch, you decide that you're sick of being in the rain, and that it's time to go through the desert. You saddle up a conspicuously unnamed horse, and head out.
Once you're out in the desert, you encounter a creature, naked, bestial, eating what appears to be a heart.
"Hey there," you say, "is that a heart?"
"I'll tell you what it is," says the creature, "It's none of your damned business, that's what it is." Then he punches you in the stomach.
You, of course, retaliate by beating him into a pulp.
Man, that was one bitter creature, you think to yourself as you head back to the Ranch.
