When Used
- From inventory, by clicking [tune moon], if you've already done that this ascension:
You can't figure out the angle to see the moon's reflection in the spoon anymore.
- From inventory, by clicking [tune moon] the first time this ascension:
You notice that the reflection of the moon looks different in the bowl of the spoon.

You feel like this is not something you'll be able to do again, at least not in this life.
- After selecting a moon sign and clicking Change Moon Sign!:
You twist the spoon around until the reflection of the moon in the bowl looks just like you intended.
- Attempting to switch away from Bad Moon in Bad Moon's "aftercore":
This moon is too bad to change.
Notes
- Grants one of the following combat skills, depending on your class' mainstat:
- Dragoon Platoon for Muscle classes
- Spittoon Monsoon for Mysticality classes
- Festoon Buffoon for Moxie classes
- In combat, randomly replaces various words by another that rhymes, and puts them in italic.
- Sometimes drop a cartoon harpoon after combat.
- Is automatically placed in your inventory for you at the beginning of your run, with the message:
- You are reborn with a hewn moon-run spoon in your mouth.
