|Monster Parts||candle, skull|
The most important part of a wizard's interior decor is, of course, the human skull. They're useful for all sorts of things, such as bookends, bowls and mortars, paperweights, and of course the classic skullabra -- by which I mean, a skull with a candle stuck on it.
Okay, fine, so a 'skullabra' would actually be a brass thing with three or four arms with a skull on the end of each one. Look, you try to come up with a fancy word for "skull with a candle stuck on it".
The skull lights you on fire with its candle, which is a move that should come as a surprise to no-one. Ooh! (hot damage)
The skull bites you on the <arse>, because sometimes the simplest ways are best. Ooh!
The skull chants some ancient incantations; the shadows around you deepen and lengthen, and creepy sounds fill the air. Nothing else happens, except you give yourself whiplash looking around behind you. Ooh! (spooky damage)
The skull launches itself at you, and headbutts you with a loud hollow 'clonk'. Oof! Eek! Ugh!
The skull tries to light you on fire with its candle, but you saw that one coming from a mile away.
The skull tries to bite you, but you refuse. "Nope," you say. "Nuh-uh."
The skull chants some ancient incantations, but other than the area getting a little spookier-looking, nothing much happens. It's plenty atmospheric, though.
The skulls seems sad for a moment, because it hasn't got anybody. (FUMBLE!)
