ghuol You're fighting a ghuol

This is a ghuol. Ghuols eat dead people. They're hugely unpopular at fondue parties, kissing booths, potlucks, and just about everywhere else.

Hit Message(s):

He bites you in the <lower back> and chews vigorously. Ewww. Argh! Ooh! (spooky damage)

He claws you with his filthy ghuolish claws. That's gonna leave a mark. Ugh! Eek! (spooky damage)

He spears you right in the britney with one of his vicious, crud-encrusted fangs. Oof! Oof! (spooky damage)

He exhales sharply right at your face. Ever wonder what the breath of something that eats only rotting flesh smells like? Ouch! Ooh! (sleaze damage)

Critical Hit Message:

The ghuol suddenly realizes that the entire top layer of your skin is, technically, dead. The ensuing hurricane of feasting is too horrible to describe. Ouch! Ouch! (spooky damage)

Miss Message(s):

He bites you in the <groin>, then realizes you're still alive and spits you back out.

He swipes at you with his claws, but misses and gets them stuck in a nearby tree.

He tries to spear you in the britney, but you avoid his toxic bite.

He breathes his rotting, carrion-laden breath into your face, but you offer him a mint.

Fumble Message:

It starts to gnaw on your flesh while batting you with its claws, but is distracted by a nearby (and presumably tastier-looking, though you can't judge) corpse. (FUMBLE!)

Special Move(s):

The ghuol feasts on a nearby corpse, and looks refreshed.

References

  • "Ghuol" is a misspelling of "Ghoul." A Ghoul is an evil demon, originally of Oriental legend, supposed to feed on human beings, and especially to rob graves, prey on corpses, etc.
  • "He tries to spear you in the britney" is a reference to Britney Spears and her 2004 hit Toxic.
