  • None - familiar cannot compete at the Arena, with the following message:

References

  • The Ghost's exhortation to "Go buy the fattest goose in the market!" is a reference to Scrooge's similar command to buy "the prize Turkey" at the end of Charles Dickens's 1843 novella A Christmas Carol.

Notes

  • Has a maximum base weight of 40 lbs (compared to most familiars that only go up to 20 lbs).
  • Cannot use familiar equipment: "Ghosts can't wear equipment, it would just fall through."
  • After 10 victories with The Ghost of Crimbo Commerce, or 10 victories after the last time bonus stats were granted, in the After Combat messages it will suggest a specific item (and only that item) to obtain.
    • After purchasing the specific item, your next combat win with this familiar will give substantial bonus stats and one of the following messages:
      • "Great job buying that <item>!" <name> says.
      • "Hey, you bought a <item>!" <name> says.
      • "Nice, you bought a <item>!" <name> says.
      • "Oh, good, you got a <item>!" <name> says.
      • "Oh good, you got a <item> before they sold out!" <name> says.
      followed by one of
      • "Doesn't that feel good?"
      • "Spending makes the world go 'round!"
      • "That's the Crimbo spirit!"
      • "That's what keeps the economy moving!"
      • "This'll be a great Crimbo!"
      • "What a rewarding purchase!"
    • Purchasing the item from an NPC store doesn't count for stats.
    • Purchasing the item from your own mall store does count.
    • There is no way to "reset" the item being asked for, other than buying it, until you ascend.
