Combat Messages
  • Regular messages:

actually sets your opponent on fire for X damage, unlike regular fire ants, which just make people feel like that is happening. Regular fire ants are liars.

breathes fire at your foe for X damage. If actual fire ants did that, it would be a real problem.

cuts a leaf. And then sets it on fire. And then uses it to set your opponent on fire for X damage.

gives your opponent a traditional cartoon-style hot-foot for X damage.

hoses your opponent down with fire for X damage. Like with a firehose. Except, ironically, the opposite of that.

injects your foe with a special poison for X damage that makes them feel like they're on fire. That poison is called 'fire'.
  • After Combat:

heals you and restores your magic. I don't know how yet. This is the first one of these I've written for this guy. Give me a minute, I'll figure something out.
    -- or --

heals you and restores your magic by... cutting a really good leaf for you to chew on?
    -- or --

heals you and restores your magic by giving you some honey. No wait, that's bees. Ants don't fly.
    -- or --

heals you and restores your magic by... laying down a chemical scent trail that leads you to a nearby first-aid kit?
    -- or --

heals you and restores your magic... through the power of positive thinking?
    -- or --

heals you and restores your magic by-- hey, look over there! Oh, you just missed it.
    HPYou gain some hit points.
    MPYou gain some Mana Points.
  • Enthroned in the Crown of Thrones:

breathes a tiny burst of fire on on your foe for X damage.
  • Bjornified in the Buddy Bjorn:

leans over your shoulder and spits a bit of fire on your foe for X damage
  • With lucky Tam O'Shanter equipped:

winks at you beneath its Tam O'Shanter, which hopefully is lined with asbestos or something.
  • With miniature gravy-covered maypole equipped:

dances around the gravy maypole, which simmers fragrantly.
  • With wax lips equipped:

smiles at you with its quickly-melting wax lips.

  • The ability message "Fights, heals, and leaves" is -- despite the differing grammar -- likely a reference to the book Eats, Shoots and Leaves.
