Double-Secret Initiation
You wander into the basement of the frat house, following a faint sound of chanting punctuated by an occasional thwack.
When you get to the bottom of the stairs, you see ten Orcish frat boys in red, hooded robes, standing in a circle around a pledge bent over a pool table, thankfully with his cargo shorts still up around his waist.
"Uh, sorry to interrupt," you say, but one of the frat brothers claps a hand on your arm.
"There you are, bra!" he says. "You're missing a totally awesome initiation! Grab the paddle and get a few whacks in, bra!"
You figure it's better to be the paddler than the paddlee. You step up to the plate and heft the heavy ceremonial frat paddle.
Thwap!
"Thank you sir, may I have another."
Thwap!
"Thank you sir, may I have another."
"Uh, no, I think you're good," you say.
"No, it's all right. I'd like another. Only a little harder, if you could, and maybe aim for the right, 'cause the sting's not quite even..."
You drop the paddle and flee back up the stairs, thoroughly skeeved out.
