distention pill This is a pill that allows your stomach to temporarily expand so you can pack more food in there. The Pork Elves used it to gorge themselves when their crops were harvested to make it through the lean times at the end of the farming cycle. Elves suggested that the lean times were a direct result of the aforementioned gorging, but they were quickly silenced, usually by being catapulted into the vacuum of space. History

• Prior to October 25, 2013, the pill functioned differently. It reduced the next food you ate by 1 fullness.
• Your next consumption included the message:

You feel your stomach shrink back to normal size.

• Failing to eat something (for example, a black pudding) also consumed the pill.
• The effect was not removed at rollover. In this situation, using another pill after rollover would not have reduced the fullness cost any further. To gain the maximum fullness in a single day, the player would have used a distention pill before rollover, then eaten something before using a second pill.
• When first introduced, in order for the pill to take proper effect, there had to be enough room in your stomach for the next thing you ingested; you could not eat until fullness, take the pill, and then ingest a 1 fullness item. This was later changed.
