- This item and its drop location seem loosely based on Monty Python's "The Lumberjack Song": "I cut down trees, I wear high heels / Suspendies and a bra."
- Suspension of disbelief refers to the willingness of a reader to suspend their judgment in order to fully enjoy a work of fiction, without getting sidetracked by logical impossibilities.
- Though the suspenders mentioned in the Lumberjack Song (being of British authorship) most likely refer to a garter, the graphic for this item represents suspenders (in the American sense, known in other English-speaking countries as braces) used to hold up one's trousers.
