Deep Inside the Knob Shaft

The ghosts in the Knob Shaft don't recognize you, because you're wearing Mining Gear. You walk deep into the shaft, and find a nice, quiet place to mine.
INSTRUCTIONS: Starting at the bottom of the mine, click a chunk of rock adjacent to an open section of mine to excavate that space. Mining a chunk of the cavern wall takes one Adventure.
- If the rock does not twinkle:

Notes
- You must be wearing the Mining Gear or Dwarvish War Uniform, or have the Earthen Fist effect in order to access this area.
- Cave-ins damage you for 20-40% of your maximum HP.
- When you begin, you are presented with a 6x6 square of black rock. Some of the squares twinkle, but only if next to an open section. All of the squares have an image tag: "Rocky Wall" or "Promising Chunk of Wall". The sections that say "Rocky Wall" have nothing in them. The sections with "A Promising Chunk of Wall" always contain one of the six outcomes listed above.
- Each of the 3 kinds of ore found in the Knob Shaft can be found 4 times per cavern. Also, the 4 squares containing a particular ore are always contiguous. Ores are never found in the bottom 2 rows. They are usually found in the top 3 rows, and sometimes the lower middle row. The chance of finding ore is slightly greater in the first and last columns. They tend to "pile up" in L and T formations here since adjacent ores can not be located in the cavern wall.
- Since ores do not appear in the bottom 2 rows, all other findable objects will be more common in those rows than in the upper 4.
- Meat stacks can be found 3 times per cavern. They can be located contiguously or not, and can be found anywhere in the grid.
- One stone of eXtreme power can be found per cavern. It appears randomly and can be found anywhere in the grid.
- The undesirable result (loss of HP from a cave-in) can be found 2 times per cavern. They can be located contiguously or not, and can be found anywhere in the grid.
- 18 spaces in the grid will be Rocky Walls.
- Squares which contain items twinkle when they are next to an open section or if your current effects include Object Detection.
- There are several different twinkle animations, but these are not meaningful. If you refresh the page for a cavern, the twinkle animations will randomly change.
- The introduction text changes if you enter with Earthen Fist active:
