Deep Inside Grimace, Bow Chick-a Bow Bow (Intoxication)
You step through the door and hear it lock behind you yet again. You wonder if every elf carries a giant ring of keys, or something, and then you wonder where the green-skinned elf girl went. There’s no trace of her, even though the room’s about the size of a broom closet and doesn’t seem to have any other exits. Weird.
There’s a little speaker grille on the wall with a little tray under it, and when you step close to it, a red blinker above it lights up. A metallic female voice says, “state level of intoxication.”
”Huh?”
”Have you engaged in reverse peristalsis? Have you lost control of excretory functions? Have you had a regrettable romantic encounter? State level of intoxication.”
”I’m fine,” you say. This is by far the strangest conversation you’ve had with a wall, and knowing you, that’s saying something.
”Dispensing Mitigation Pastille,” the voice replies, and a pill drops into the tray beneath the grille. “Please drink responsibly. Please exit through the transportation portal circle."
You pick up the pill and turn to see a glowing blue circle on the wall. You step through the circle, and your stomach tries to turn itself inside out, and then you’re back on the surface of Grimace.
Fun fact: your left middle finger is now .3 millimeters shorter than it used to be. Weird science!
