Notes

  • If used without a wand in inventory, randomly drops one of the above wands (all of which are functionally identical). Note that a wand will not drop if less than three rollovers have passed since your previous wand exploded.
  • If used with a wand in inventory, or if your last wand exploded more recently than 3 rollovers ago, randomly drops some Dungeons of Doom potions and a random ring.
  • As long as you use a mimic no sooner than 3 rollovers after your previous wand exploded, you will be able to get a wand, even if the mimic was acquired before the third rollover.

  • This item references the mimic from NetHack. A mimic will often take the form of a treasure chest or another seemingly valuable object to lure unsuspecting adventurers into its grasp.
  • The use description refers to the common usage of "[having a] stick up his butt" to refer to someone who is uptight.
