It boots up, then strolls around the terrarium honking robotically at your other familiars.

You decide to name him Tagarth.

• The line "even though it's not turned on yet, it has already managed to imprint itself on you" in the item description is a reference to the phenomenon in animal behavior called "imprinting," which was famously investigated in greylag geese by Konrad Lorenz.
