confusing LED clock

This thing claims to be a clock, but it doesn't present the time in any format you've ever heard of, or any format that you can understand. It's just a bunch of random blinking lights!

When Used

  • Without a clock:
Ledclock.gif
You place the confusing clock on the heretofore-unmentioned nightstand in your dwelling.
  • With one already:
Ledclock.gif
You've already got one of those on your nightstand. You don't want to make it even more confusing than it already is.

When you wake up, you look at the LED clock to try to figure out what time it is. You cannot figure out what time it is.

When you wake up, you look at the LED clock to try to figure out what time it is. You cannot figure out what time it is.

This fact fills you with uncontrollable rage. You lunge toward the clock and smash it to pieces. The act of destruction is almost, but not quite, sufficient to dissipate your anger.
AdventuresYou lose 5 Adventures.
PvP FightsYou gain 5 PvP Fights.

Notes

  • With an intact hippy stone this doesn't do anything. No change to HP/MP restored and no other benefit.
  • You actually spend the 5 adventures; the game does not simply subtract them from your turns available. Your effect counters will decrease, and your turns spent this run will increase.
    • If using a non-free rest, you actually spend 6 adventures (as shown by effect duration loss), although you can receive the 5 PvP fights even if you only had exactly 5 adventures remaining.
  • You can only receive the extra PVP fights once a day. Using a second Confusing LED clock will place it in your house, but resting will not consume the 5 extra adventures or give extra PVP fights.

References

  • The image and description reference binary clocks, which display time in a BCD format.
