I'm not sure how to record this, but this hit message has a bit extra when you've got a plural opponent. This was against a guy with a pitchfork, and his wife: "You stick your staff between their ankles, tripping them and dealing 46 damage. It's lucky that they were standing in a line like that. ZAP! SMACK! BARF! BIFF! POW! WHAMMO! WHACK!" --Terion 20:30, 22 August 2007 (CDT)
- It seems to not be plural monsters but monster with feet according to Player_Hit_Messages#Staves. This page may be outdated compared to Player Hit Messages. --JRSiebz (☎|§|‡) 21:43, 22 August 2007 (CDT)
- Yeah, that page is probably the most current. However, what I was mainly pointing out was the additional line "It's lucky that they were standing in a line like that." that seemed to occur with the multiple-monster combat. I'll have to use a staff on the Airship and see if I get the same additional message against the Random Encounters. Then I'll figure some way to notate it on the Player Hit Messages.--Terion 22:36, 7 September 2007 (CDT)
- The top of the page notes that ALL staves or Two-handed or more. This is no longer true due to Frosty's arm and should be revised. —Preceding unsigned comment added by PsychoBoy (talk • contribs) on 21 June 2008
- And you can't do this yourself because...? --Bagatelle 22:37, 21 June 2008 (CDT)
You speak softly, then clobber <it> with your big stick, dealing X damage. ZAP! ZOT! WHAM!
Are you fucking kidding me? It's a Teddy Roosevelt quotation. Holy shit, I weep for the future.--P4n1q 01:40, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
