Category talk:Needs Work
From TheKolWiki
- I am not sure where to put this, but I think the Needs Work Talk page is a good place to start.
I think we need to add something about "bot"s in KOL. What they are, who runs them, if they are "safe" etc. This is obviously would not be a beginner's page. But I think it would be a great help. --Wierd Ali 18:42, 4 Jul 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
- Is there a way to get this page to auto-update when a "needs work" tag is added/removed from another page?
If not, are we supposed to be doing that on our own?
- The [[Category:Needs Work]] tag is embedded in the {{rewrite}} template. If you remove the {{rewrite}}, the page is no longer listed in Category:Needs Work. --JRSiebz 02:40, 11 Aug 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
- I think it would make sense for the Needs Work Category to be displayed differently. Alphabetical order is all good and proper, but subsections might be useful. Sorting them by adventures/areas (the ones everyone can find with a little willingness to get beaten up), as opposed to ones that touch on mechanics (stat boosts in the tavern, max outfits) might be a good idea. Also, people could announce here when they're working on something.
(For people looking for attack texts on the Nemesis Quests - you can lower your stats to rock bottom, you'll be able to face your opponent. Get beaten up, use a patchouli incense stick, a Mr. Mediocrebar and hippy herbal tea - wussiness potion and knob goblin firecracker shouldn't be needed. Unequip weapons and acessories, wear the most powerful hat and pants you have so you're able to take more than 1 hit, and you'll be sure to discover those attack texts.)--Gorgolok 03:04, 13 Aug 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
- Would it be possible to link this page to the navigation or toolbox bars? I'd find it rather useful to get here from anywhere with one click. If I've missed a wayto do this, please tell me.--Gorgolok 10:36, 17 Aug 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
- I'm completely new to this, so bear with me or contact me with help. I have an item ("aspirin") that I don't see in the Items category anywhere. What is the process for adding it?--Mustard 19:07, 13 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)
- Is there a page that lists the default familiar names (grobert, trot, etc.)? Does anyone think there should be a page for that? There's one for the list of Anatomical Injuries, so I thought maybe we should have a familiar names page. --Spamantha 22:33, 27 December 2005 (Central Standard Time)
- Well, I personally like the idea and made this table, but I'm not sure it's correct (for example, I don't know yet if there are really any familiars out there that end in "rn"). Details are on my user page. --NewZorkBat 07:08, 1 January 2006 (Central Standard Time)
- See Familiar Names. --NewZorkBat 04:38, 5 January 2006 (Central Standard Time)

According to the Packrat page, the possible effects of the sign are now known. If no one objects, I'll remove the request in the top section. --Irregular 21:40, 2 May 2008 (CDT)
