You're fighting a Boiling CloudThe pilgrim is getting really red-faced and sweaty, it seems like he's really building up a head of steam.
And then it turns out to be a hat of steam, because his hat explodes -- releasing a boiling, roiling cloud, the spiritual avatar of every time you've ever opened a crockpot too fast or had the idea to deep-fry a frozen turkey.
