| You imagine a glass of water in a microwave oven, superheated past its boiling point, waiting for an inrush of air to set it off. The air around you begins to shimmer with heat. or You imagine a pan with cooking sherry in it, then mentally light it with a match. Flame fills your mind, and the air around you begins to sizzle. or Warm it up, Jarlsberg!" you cackle, and a whiny voice speaks from your mouth and replies: "I'm about to!" The air around you gets even hotter than before. or "Hotter!" you cackle, your frantic ministrations turning the heat up even further. "Hotter still!" or You imagine a grease fire in a pan on a stove, flames scorching the ceiling. The air around you gets hotter still, almost unbearably stifling. or You imagine a plate of Bananas Foster, only instead of rum, it's topped with gasoline and set alight. The air around you gets even hotter. |
On the casting round and subsequent rounds:

Notes
- The damage dealt is 10 on average at zero Hot Resistance, otherwise 10 + 5 x Hot Resistance on average.
- Recasting increases the damage dealt by one-third to two-thirds (average 50%) of the current round's damage, and has special messages for each cast.
- Spell Damage modifiers and Hotform have no effect on the damage dealt.
- Allows the creation of consummate brownie, consummate melted cheese, consummate meatloaf, and consummate baked potato in Jarlsberg's Cosmic Kitchen.
