This is a scroll with the number 64735 written on it. Queer. Wait, no. Don't hit me, man, I meant it like "weird." (In-game plural: 64735 scrolls) |

When Used
- If you do not have the access to The Valley Beyond The Orc Chasm (see Orc Chasm Quest for requirements):
You have no idea what this thing is for. |
- (scroll remains in inventory)
- First time, if you have the dictionary:
You are magically transported to the gates of Baron Rof L'm Fao's castle. You wonder briefly why you weren't transported inside the castle, then remember that no number resembles the letter "C."
The Baron himself stands before you. "Adventurer, you have fought bravely to help rid my valley of these horrifying (or at least annoying) creatures. I notice you have a powerful weapon you have been using against them. If you will give it to me so I may guard against future attacks, I will reward you handsomely." Even though your name isn't Lee, you're flattered and hand over your dictionary. "Wait a few minutes," he says, "while I have my scribes make me a copy of this amazing book." He leaves the room, and comes back a few minutes later. (Fast scribes!) "Here you go," he says. "You can pretty much do whatever you want with this thing now. Heck, sell it if you've got a mind to! You can also have this axe I found. Thanks again for your help."
|
- First time, without the dictionary:
- (scroll remains in inventory)
- Subsequent times:
- (on subsequent times, scroll stays in inventory after use)
- If your clan has A Speakeasy:
"Oh, and don't forget XxXxX. It's important."
- Old usage message, before the introduction of the facsimile dictionary:
You are magically transported to the gates of Baron Rof L'm Fao's castle. You wonder briefly why you weren't transported inside the castle, then remember that no number resembles the letter "C."
The Baron himself stands before you. "Adventurer, you have fought bravely to help rid my valley of these horrifying (or at least annoying) creatures. I notice you have a powerful weapon you have been using against them. If you will give it to me so I may guard against future attacks, I will reward you handsomely." Even though your name isn't Lee, you're flattered and hand over your dictionary. The Baron showers you with thanks, thanks you with showers, and leaves you to walk back to the Council.

Notes
- If the person using this scroll is in a clan that has A Speakeasy installed, the line with the purple text is added when used twice. (The line appears even if you don't own a Clan VIP Lounge key.) The text is a series of 5 upper- and lowercase letters and the digits 0-9, which is part of a string of 55 characters for that specific clan. The part of the string that is received does not change when changing clans, but does change when ascending.
History
- For a time it was not possible to receive the text for not having the dictionary, when it was no longer possible to put quest items in your closet. As of the November 14th, 2012 level 9 quest update it is now possible to complete the quest without the dictionary.
References
- 64735 is leet speak for "gates".
- The line "Even though your name isn't Lee" is a pun on misinterpreting "handsomely" as "handsome Lee".
