Even in an organization that contains a giant kangaroo, a psychadelic toad-boy, and a Mexican-Chinese-schoolgirl, Woldo is something of an oddity. Little is known of his origins, only that he came up through the Little Canadia leagues in much the same condition he is in now.
Woldo never speaks and never reveals his face. He wears nothing but bands of leather across his body, limbs, and face, which makes fighting him a somewhat unappetizing prospect. The sharp metal claws lashed to his wrists only further the frightening initial impression. His Canadianity is only betrayed by the red-and-white-striped toque on his head and the thick black plastic glasses over the strip of leather across his eyes.
He would be unbeatable in the ring, save for his curious penchant for spazzing out. He'll spin around backwards and try to fight that way, flail his arms and legs fruitlessly, and occasionally flop on the ground like an extremely lousy breakdancer.

- Woldo is a cross between Waldo (of Where's Waldo? fame) and Voldo from the series of Soul fighting games by Namco, consisting of Soul Edge (Soul Blade in the United States), Soul Calibur, Soul Calibur II, and Soul Calibur III. He blends the appearance of the two, and the description of his fighting style is a parody of some of Voldo's moves.
- His Wanishing Act move may also reference how in Where's Waldo? one had to find Waldo somewhere in a crowd.
