References

  • The name of this location, and some of the adventures here, reference poems by the Romantic poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Kubla Khan (Or, A Vision in a Dream) provides the name of the location.
  • The roller-skating Muse is one of the few adventures in the Worm Wood that isn't a classical reference. She is based on the Olivia Newton-John flop Xanadu, and Xanadu also happens to be the place where Kubla Khan built his stately pleasure dome in the poem mentioned above.
