Notes

  • The choice non-combat occurs scheduled (every 15? 20? turns base, possibly with mild variation, decreased by 5? 10? turns if wearing a bellhop hat, decreased by another turn for every -5% combat up to the soft cap, then reportedly by another turn when running -35% combat (and not the expected -30%)). Long story short, have the bellhop's hat equipped and run -25% combat.
  • If on the fill Walford's bucket with balls quest, one of the following messages will appear after defeating a monster in this zone:
The hotel concierge notices you wandering around with a bucket, and asks what you what you're doing. "I need... uh, I'm looking for..." you trail off, and sigh. "I'm looking for balls."

She nods slowly and reaches into her pocket, and pulls out... three brightly-colored plastic balls, which she drops into your bucket. "Oh, you are good," you say. (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
You wander into the hotel ballroom. It is in fact full of balls, so you pick up a few for Walford. (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
  • If on the fill Walford's bucket with blood quest, one of the following messages will appear after defeating a monster in this zone:
You find a laundry cart and take a peek inside. There's a bath towel soaked in blood, which... ...okay, maybe don't ask any questions, maybe just wring it out into your bucket and walk away. (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
You find a room-service tray that someone left outside their door for housekeeping. There's still a little red wine left in the bottle, and red wine is not entirely dissimilar to blood, so you pour it into your bucket. (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
Additionally, if bleeding was caused during combat: You survey the grisly mess left behind after the fight. Suppressing a shudder, you soak up some of the blood and wring a little extra into Walford's bucket. (Walford's bucket filled by an additional 1%)
  • If on the fill Walford's bucket with bolts quest, one of the following messages will appear after defeating a monster in this zone:
You spot a door with a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the knob, and phone room service to have a plate of bolts sent up to that room number. When the porter arrives and leaves the tray outside the door, you steal the bolts. Sneaky! (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
You suddenly notice that the lamps in this hallway are bolted to the walls. With bolts.

Gosh, who left all these lamps on the floor? *nonchalant whistle* (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
  • If on the fill Walford's bucket with chicken quest, one of the following messages will appear after defeating a monster in this zone:
Down at the other end of the hall, you spot... a chicken! You chase it down and catch it in your bucket, without stopping to ask why there's a chicken walking around in the hotel. (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
You notice a room-service tray that's been left outside someone's door for housekeeping to pick up. It has some leftovers on it that look more-or-less like chicken, so you discreetly tip them into your bucket. (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
Additionally, with at least +50% food drops from monsters: On your way out, you scour the halls for leftover chicken on room-service trays. (Walford's bucket filled by an additional 1%)
  • If on the fill Walford's bucket with chum quest, one of the following messages will appear after defeating a monster in this zone:
You scavenge some leftover room-service trays for fish parts to put in Walford's chum bucket. (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
You discover the hotel's breakfast lounge, which is offering cold bagels, watery coffee, and pickled herring. You smash up a few herrings for your chum bucket. (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
  • If on the fill Walford's bucket with ice quest, one of the following messages will appear after defeating a monster in this zone:
You discover an ice machine in the hallway, shrug, and push the button. It dumps some ice into Walford's bucket for you. Easy! (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
You glance around to make sure nobody's looking, and break a leg off of an ice chair for Walford's bucket. (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
You spend a few minutes in the hotel bar, taking peoples' finished drinks and dumping the ice into your bucket. (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
Additionally, if 10 or more Cold Damage was dealt during combat: You gather up some of the extra ice that got created during the fight... (Walford's bucket filled by an additional 1%)
  • If on the fill Walford's bucket with milk quest, one of the following messages will appear after defeating a monster in this zone:
You find a housekeeping cart, which has a bin of those little plastic cups of coffee creamer -- that's nearly milk, right? You open a few of them and pour them into your bucket. (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
You find a leftover room service tray in the hall -- looks like someone ordered a bowl of cereal for breakfast. You pour the remaining milk into Walford's bucket. (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
Additionally, with at least +50% booze drops from monsters: On your way out, you stop by the bar and collect the milk from some mostly-drunk White Russians in the hotel bar. (Walford's bucket filled by an additional 1%)
  • If on the fill Walford's bucket with moonbeams quest, one of the following messages will appear after defeating a monster in this zone:
You order a few moonbeams from room service. They're expensive, but it isn't your room anyway. (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
A single ray of moonlight shines in through a hotel window. After some finagling, you manage to get it to stay in your bucket somehow. (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
You open a windowblind just a little so that a moonbeam comes into the window and lands in your bucket, then slap a magazine over it so it can't escape. (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
Additionally, without a hat equipped: A bunch of extra moonbeams slip past your unadorned head and land in Walford's bucket. (Walford's bucket filled by an additional 1%)
  • If on the fill Walford's bucket with rain quest, one of the following messages will appear after defeating a monster in this zone:
A drop of water hits you, and you look up. Looks like someone left a chandelier on, and the ceiling is starting to melt a little. Hey, that's basically rain, right? You catch a little of it in your bucket before you get bored and wander off. (Walford's bucket filled by 1%)
Additionally, if 100 or more Hot Damage was dealt during combat: You gather up some of water dripping from the ceiling as a result of you having melted it. That's like rain, right? (Walford's bucket filled by an additional 1%)
