Other
- I have a feeling that one of "It swings a broom at you, but you jump over it. Go you." and "It swings a broom at you, but you jump over it. Unfortunately, that means you're now married to the brainsweeper." no longer appears. If they both appear, it's odd, as I've not been able to find a fifth attack message after 60 rounds of attack messages. - Makoto 14:18, 4 September 2006 (CDT)
- Okay, I checked the miss messages and the first of those doesn't seem to come up anymore (it didn't come up in 24 miss messages). I've therefore removed it. - Makoto 14:30, 4 September 2006 (CDT)
- I can further confirm it, only the second occurs.--Dehstil (t|c) 15:08, 4 September 2006 (CDT)
Drop rate reduced
While playing today as a lvl 6 Sauceror, I used an Odor Injector to encounter more brainsweepers, and had someone cast Fat Leon's Phat Loot on me.
Strangely, I got very few brains. I got three brains in I'd estimate 25-30 brainsweepers. Sadly I don't know exactly how many brainsweepers I thought, because I didn't think to start counting until after I'd killed many without a single brain dropping.
The date this happened was July 28th, 2007.
Anyone have any similar experiences with brains refusing to drop? McJeff 21:20, 28 July 2007 (CDT)
- That's really still too small a sample of data to base anything on. Probably just bad RNG luck. --TechSmurf 21:34, 28 July 2007 (CDT)
Name reference?
It might be possible that its name is a double pun on Minesweeper, i.e. Minesweeper -> Mindsweeper -> Brainsweeper.
