Combat Messages
  • Regular message:
<Name> says, "there seems to be a beat, now. I can feel it in my feet, now." He winks at you and starts dancing.
Reality blurs as <Name> winks at you and dances furiously, his glass hand dissolving to ice petal flowers revolving. Wait, that doesn't make any sense. Stupid hippies.
<Name> misses a dance step and trips over his own feet. He gets up and says, "never mind how I stumble and fall," winking knowingly.
<Name> comes skimming through rays of violet, winking as he wades in a drop of dew. You don't know what he's on, but you know you want some.
<Name> dances a little too fast. You tell him he better watch his speed, and he winks knowingly.
<Name> dances a trippy little jig and drops you a wink. Goddamn, well, I declare, have you ever seen the like?
<Name> dances so fast he trips himself and falls to the ground in slow motion. After the long, strange trip, he dusts himself off and winks at you.
  • Enthroned in the Crown of Thrones:
<name> sticks out his paw and knocks your opponent over. It does a long, strange trip, and looks a little worse for wear when it finally stands back up.

Monster DefenseMonster defense reduced by Y
  • With lucky Tam O'Shanter equipped:
<Name> changes color a few times, trying to match the plaid on your Tam O'Shanter.
  • With miniature gravy-covered maypole equipped:
    <Name> does a free-form, hippy-ish dance around the Maypole.
  • With wax lips equipped:
<Name> gives a blissed-out grin from under the Wax Lips.

  • The dancing bear is a Grateful Dead icon to which this familiar bears a striking resemblance. Owsley "Bear" Stanley, the inspiration for the image, was the Grateful Dead's soundman for many years; he was also one of the largest suppliers of LSD.
  • The "there seems to be a beat, now..." message is a reference to the Grateful Dead song "The Music Never Stopped."
  • The "glass hand dissolving..." message is a reference to the Grateful Dead song "Dark Star."
  • The "never mind how I stumble and fall" message is a reference to the Grateful Dead song "Hell in a Bucket."
  • The "skimming...dew" message is a reference to the Grateful Dead song "Sugar Magnolia."
  • The "watch his speed" message is a reference to the Grateful Dead song "Casey Jones."
  • The "...have you ever seen the like?" message is a reference to the Grateful Dead song "Uncle John's Band."
  • The "long, strange trip" message is a reference to the Grateful Dead song "Truckin'"
