This item, like the other hippy war medals, is a play on Lucky Charms cereal where each medal is a marshmallow shape. That is: hearts, stars, clovers, diamonds, horseshoes and moons. The colors also correspond to the original colors of Lucky Charms. In this instance pink hearts.

The names of some of these medals also correspond to the eight virtues of Richard Garriott's Ultima series. The virtues are: Honesty, Valor, Humility, Sacrifice, Compassion, Honor, Spirituality, and Justice.
