- This item, like the other hippy war medals, is a play on Lucky Charms cereal where each medal is a marshmallow shape. That is: hearts, stars, clovers, diamonds, horseshoes and moons. The colors also correspond to the original colors of Lucky Charms. In this instance orange stars.
- The names of some of these medals also correspond to the eight virtues of Richard Garriott's Ultima series. The virtues are: Honesty, Valor, Humility, Sacrifice, Compassion, Honor, Spirituality, and Justice.
