Here is a categorical list of all the Greasemonkey scripts currently created for KoL. Some may be outdated and no longer function and when used in conjunction many will likely not work. Script makers tend to be a helpful bunch and a simple request for compatibility through PM in the forums or in-game will usually rectify most problems. Remember, these scripts are not an official part of KoL and therefore are not the responsibility of the KoL devs. Do not make separate posts in the forum asking for help with any specific script, most scripts already have their own thread.

Adventure Information

Bad Moon Minder Author: clump

• Adds a page to your quest log showing special bad moon adventures, including brief spoiler info, links to wiki pages, and links to adventure locations.
• Keeps track of which bad moon adventures have been encountered in the current ascension.

Battlefield Counter - (forum) Author: JHunz

• Tracks the exact number of hippies and fratboys killed on The Battlefield during the level 12 quest.
• Also tracks sidequest progress, tracks the total meat during the nuns, and adds spoilers for the Junkyard quest.
• Many people have had issues with this script, while it works fine for others. Don't rely on this as your only method of tracking the battlefield.

The Rye's Cake-Shaped Arena Trainer Author: bigfreak

• Grants full control over the risks you want to take
• Pulls data straight from http://www.therye.org/familiars
• Takes X'es into account

Desert Safety - (forum) Author: Wolffauer

• Helps you safely adventure in the Arid, Extra Dry Desert, by keeping track of your hydration and providing a link to the Oasis when it is time to rehydrate.

Louvre It Script - (HCO forum) Author: bigfreak (updated by c_wraith)

• Learns the Louvre It or Leave It maze and allows you to pick the reward you want, including percentages of chance when not fully mapped.

MonsterStats - (forum) Author: Numfar

• Adds monster information to fight pages (HP, XP, item and meat drop). Rather outdated now, but can still be very helpful for the enemies it works for.

Tower Monsters Author: Plater

• Attempts to auto-select the correct item to defeat a tower monster, provides a wiki link for missing items.

Dwarf Runes Author: Plater

• Displays the alphabetical rune names from the warehouse, displays formula results from the dormitory. Both sets are stored for viewing in the account page. Alphabetical rune results are solved for item types (Example: "miner's pants = Dwarf Rune N") Account page has a Base10 <=> Base7 converter.

Dwarf Rune Shower Author: Club

• Appends "(word N)" or "(# N)" text to Dwarven rune images. Summarizes results each of round in the dice game. (This does not solve the puzzle, but makes it easier to collect the information to solve the puzzle.) Only advantage over Plater's is showing runes in inventory pages.

WikiLink - (forum) Author: Numfar

• Links items, effects, and monsters to their entries on the KOL Wiki.

Wumpus Hunter Author: RavenBlack

• Marks the buttons in the "Hunt The Wumpus" minigame based on what you have learned about them (eg. marks all adjacent rooms "safe" if you are in a room with no warnings, marks potential pits/bats/wumpus and corrects them to certain pits/bats/wumpus when possible). Omits only use of the knowledge that there are precisely two pits and two bats.

General

Absinthe Minder - (forum) Author: JHunz

• A script to reduce/eliminate Green Pixie micromanagement

Battle Checker - (forum) Author: clump

• Adds the image numbers of the frat/hippy sides in the wartime battlefield to the charpane (below character portrait).
• Updates the count automatically every time the charpane is refreshed (except during actual combat).

BirdAid - (forum) Author: clump

• Adds a drop-down list of quick links for consuming gongs and birdform munchies.
• Superseded by QuickUse (see below).

Birdform Attack Counter - (info) Author: antimarty

• While in birdform, counts your Talon Slashes and Wing Buffets to help you get your Glimmering Roc Feather. Also supports the elemental attacks for other Glimmering Feathers. Counts daily gong drops. Invisible if not in birdform.
• Also counts a bunch of other things: Daily absinthe drops, astral mushroom drops, spooky putty sheet uses, navel ring runaways, bandersnatch runaways, agua de vida drops, hobo underling summons...

Consumption Management - (forum) Author: JHunz

• Tracks fullness and spleen and displays them in the character pane
• Warns when the drink you are drinking will cause you to overdrink

Fortune Cookie Script - (info) Author: antimarty

• Adds a countdown timer for semi-rare adventures to the character pane. Pops up a warning box when a semi-rare adventure is due. Auto-sets when eating a fortune cookie, or can be manually set by user.

Forum Despoiler Author: JHunz

• Turns black spoiler boxes on the KoL forums into grey boxes for lazier spoilage. Same as Picklish's old script, but works on the new VB forums.

Hobo Binder Tracker Author: clump

• Lists and numbers missing entries in the hobo code binder section of your quest log, as well as an equip binder link.

Hobo Glyph Checker - (info) Author: James Cammarata

• Lists missing entries in the hobo code binder section of your quest log.

Insult Tracker Author: JHunz

• Counts and tracks which insults have been received for Insult Beer Pong.

Love Song Spoiler - (info) Author: Jik4eva

• Spoils the effects of love songs both in inventory and in combat.

Major Ray Cooldown Tracker - (info) Author: antimarty

• Tracks the cooldown period between Major Rays for the He-Boulder familiar, putting a counter in your character pane.

• Links the moon images in the menupane to this page.

Moon Sign Effects - Author: DaCyclops

• Adds the effects of Moon Signs to the Ascension page.

Pulverize Groups - (forum) Author: OneTonTomato

• Groups pulverizeable items by expected results, displays yield information, filters by element, and add as a "pulverize max" button.

Trophy Checker - (forum) Author: clump

• Intended to help with trophy spading (not suggested for regular use).
• Adds a count of trophies you can currently purchase to the charpane (below character portrait)
• Updates the count automatically everytime the charpane is refreshed (except during actual combat)

Resistance is Futile - (forum) Author: Hellion

• Appends a numerical value and its percentage effectiveness (including, if appropriate, the 5% "native bonus" for myst classes) to the 'descriptive' resistance name.

ResistanceDecoder - (forum) Author: Drachefly

• For each protection, gives numeric ranks, protection %, and effective % boost to HP

90% Familiar Run Checker - Author: JHunz

• Displays the highest percentage familiar run completed with each familiar in your terrarium

• Combines pre- and post-NS13 ascension history into a single page.

Contact Baleet Count - Author: Anarch

• A script that counts the number of people on your Baleet/Contact list.

Display Case Shelves Modifier - Author: bum51

• A script that makes it easier to reorganize your display case. When shelves are switched using drag and drop, items will automatically follow the shelves.

Extra Inventory Links - Author: Club

• Naively adds [multiuse], [star chart], and [roll sushi] links after [sell stuff] on inventory pages.

Fake Hand Summary - Author: DaCyclops

• Compresses multiple fake hands in players' profiles with a single hand and followed by the number of fake hands they're wearing.

Familiar Early Warning System - (forum) Author: clump

• Helps with 100% familiar runs when you need to temporarily switch familiars for quest purposes. Nags you repeatedly to switch back to a specified familiar whenever you do something without that familiar.

Familiar Hotlist - (forum) Author: OneTonTomato

• Create a list of your favorite familiars, and switch between them from your character pane.
• Supports auto swapping lead necklaces, pumpkin buckets, etc.

Familiar Totaliser - (info) Author: tenorkev

• Shows the total familiar weight in the terrarium (useful for some trophies).

GeneriQueue - (forum) Author: OneTonTomato

• Queue multiple actions and run them all at once. Also supports basic macro recording/running.

HP Colors - Author: Anarch

• Changes the color of your HP every 10%, from red (0 health) to yellow (50% health) to green (100% health), gradually, of course.

• Show item descriptions on all pages without opening new windows by hovering over the item image.

• Adds a long list of visitable locations to the menupane.

Monster Level Dropdown - Author: Zamiel

• Changes the detuned radio, MCD, or Annoy-o-Tron link in the charpane into a dropdown menu.
• Adds the device link and dropdown menu even if the device is off.

Meat Transaction Helper - (forum) Author: OneTonTomato

• Adds thousands-separators (commas), and auto-converts K and M to thousands & millions for a number of meat transaction fields (trade, mall pricing, MMG etc.)

Mining Helper - Author: Picklish

• Removes animation delay in "sparkly" mining squares so that they are much more obvious.

Missing Bones List - Author: phlip

• Adds a list of the bones you're missing to the bottom of the bone list.

Naked Katana Author: clump

• Displays actual damage text for haiku katana and other weapons when in Haiku State of Mind.

No Rollover on Charpane - (forum) Author: Aprocalypse

• Removes the shiny new rollover countdown timer on the charpane entirely.

Outfit Swapper - Author: OneTonTomato

• Creates an outfits dropdown menu in the character pane for quickly changing outfits.

Previous Adventures - (forum) Author: phlip

• Displays a resizable queue of links to a player's last adventure locations.

Profile Options - (forum) Author: Aprocalypse

• This script adds several links to the bottom of other people's profile, allowing you to whitelist (as a normal member), brick, tp, wang, cream or carol the player.

Pulverize-Malus - (HCO forum) Author: bigfreak

• Links to the pulverize skill screen at the Malus screen in the guild hall, links to the Malus at the Pulverize skill screen, and adds a Pulverize Link in Full Mode underneath the familiar display in the charpane panel.

PVP defaults - (HCO Forums) Author: Retrofrog

• Very simple modifiable GM script which sets the defaults Retrofrog uses when he PVPs. Defaults the PvP page to choose 'flowers' and the search page to 'PvP=Yes', 'Hardcore=Yes', and 'Rank=10000'.

PvP Links Script - (forum) Author: Aprocalypse

• This Greasemonkey script changes the "PvP" statistics that you see in your profile, and on other players pages into links. Clicking on the links on other players public profiles will load up the PVP page, with the attack field automatically filled with their player ID.

QuickUse - (forum) Author: clump

• Adds to your charpane a list of links to use/eat/drink/equip arbitrary items.
• Expandable button for repetitive use.
• User configurable, automatic update notification.

Recipe Counter Author: clump

• Adds a count of discovered recipes to each discoveries page.

Recipe Unroller - (forum) Author: clump

• Shows the maximum you can make of a recipe in your discoveries page.
• Shows recursive recipe construction.

Resend as Package - Author: holatuwol

• When sending a kmail message fails, refills the fields when you visit the gift page.

Rollover Over - (forum) Author: Aprocalypse

• This Greasemonkey script will attempt to load the main page after a certain number of seconds on the maintenance page. You can change the number of seconds that it takes to load.

Rollover Timer - Author: phlip

• Shows the shiny new rollover countdown timer on the charpane, even when rollover's more than 30 minutes away.

Say Goodbye to "No Skill" - Author: Cialan

• Reminds you to buy a skill before ascending.

Slime Guard - (forum) Author: clump

• Prevents adventuring in the slime tube when your HP are insufficient to withstand the damage from your current level of Coated in Slime.

Stat To Pointer - (HCO forums) Authors: yehman/Aprocalypse

• Replaces the optional in-game progress bars (for your level, familiar level, and stat points) with entirely numerical values (displayed as "x/y" where x is current subpoints since last level/stat point, and y is total needed for the next level/stat point).

Trophy Count - Author: DaCyclops

• Counts the number of trophies a player has visible in their profile.

Trophy Helper - (forum) Author: OneTonTomato

• Allows trophies to be rearranged via drag and drop, saving several hundred clicks and page hits for significant reordering.
• Adds a number of "random trophy" spots, and fills them with trophies of your choosing.

Untinker Reminder - Author: Anarch

• Links to the Untinker immediately after receiving the Knoll Shopping List.

Useful Toplinks - Author: SomeStranger

• Adds multiple links to the top pane of KoL. Only works in full mode (Includes automatic outfit switcher for Knob Store).

Wiki log - (forum) Author: clump

• Interprets your quest log text as wiki mark-up code for a large subset of wiki codes.
• Includes a full template system.

Zero Quantities - (HCO forums) Author: Retrofrog

• Makes it so that clicking on a quantity field selects all the contents before you begin to type. This way, you'll overwrite the existing data by default...thus, instead of typing "15" when you meant to type "5" due to the initial "1" in the box should be eliminated.

MMG Bouncer - Author: phlip

• "Refuses access to the eeeevil MMG."

Changes to Compact Mode

Compact Mode Effect Texterizer - (forum) Author: CDMoyer

• Replaces effect images with text in compact mode.
• Changes the number of turns to yellow if less than 10, red if less than 3.

Compact Mode Option Adder - Author: SomeStranger

• Initially adds links to the beanstalk and the manor on the drop-down menu (even if you haven't unlocked them yet), but it's very easily customizable.

Compact Mode with Many More Links - Author: Club

• Adds many more links to Function and Goto menus, like individual crafting pages, Town Wrong, Town Left, Beanstalk, Sea Floor, etc. Inspired by SomeStranger's Compact Mode Option Adder, but has a (very) little bit of intelligence about when and where to add links. Screenshot on author page.

Less Compact Compact Mode - Author: Picklish

• Adds the name of an effect after its effect image in the character pane in compact mode.

• Generates pie, bar, and line charts of MMG activity and any viewed ascension history.

Color Familiars - (forum) Author: Krogoth42

• This script changes the familiar icons used in the game to various full-color alternatives. Choosing which images are used can be done here, at tool written by cmeister.

Color Kol - (forum) Author: Gorloth

• This is a collection of scripts that color various parts of kol.

Colour Bag - Author: clump

• Lets you change the color of inventory item text by clicking on the text.
• Coloring also shows in many lists such as Hagnk's, adding to the mall, the flea market, zapping, etc.

HP & MP bars - Author: bum51

• Creates bars to display HP and MP status. Colors fade from start to end and are changeable in the account menu page.

IWannaDifferentFamiliar - (forum) Author: phlip

• Allows you to "pretend" your familiar is another one, essentially.

• This script changes the main.php 'Yellow Exclamation Points' box title to something of your choosing. Right click the title to change.

OMG Teh Kilt - (forum) Author: OneTonTomato

• Custom Item Creator Form
• Create a mostly-customizable custom item through the form above, and it'll show up as equipment on your profile page for anybody running the script (you'll also see it on your own charsheet). Clicking the item pops up a full item description as normal.
• Item will (appear to) override current equipment with your own. Lots of specifics answered in forum post link above.

Skill Checker - Author: JiK4eva

• Gives a very nice visualization of Permanent skills that are viewable both in your own character pane, and on other character's profiles.

Tongue Changer - Author: cjswimmer

• Replaces the effect images for snowcones and cupcakes with appropriately colored images.

• Puts the hobopolis raid log into a much more viewing friendly format

Raid Log Summarizer - Author: Fungo

• Adds a drop-down list to the top pane to let you quickly switch between your whitelisted clans.

• Adds quick-reply, message quoting, and (optional) avatar hiding to the clan forums.

Clan Forum Helper - (Forum) Author: destroyerBEACON

• Unread topics will have a pleasantly-colored icon next to them, indicating that there is at least one unread post.
• Unread posts appear with a light blue background.
• Normal topics are given a scroll icon, and forums are given a book icon.

Clan Sofa - Author: Gobberwart

• Adds a link to the bottom of the char pane to let you snooze on your clan's sofa without having to go to the rumpus room first.

Clan War Egg Timer - Author: holatuwol

• Adds an egg timer to chat to remind you to do your next clan war.

Clan Attack List - (Forum) Author: Wolffauer

• Maintains a list of clans to attack and avoid attacking. Visually differentiates them on the Attack page.

Looter Checker - (HCO forums) Author: SomeStranger

• Checks with the Looters of Loathing database when accepting new clan members in order to prevent fraud/theft; appears in the form of little "check" links next to each applicant. Upon pressing one, it checks to see if the player is listed, turning green if they are clear, and red if they are listed.

Whitelist Helper - (HCO Forum) Author: OneTonTomato

• Adds up to 37 players in a row to your clan's whitelist from a comma-delimited list.Players already on you clan's whitelist will not be added. Players can be added by id number or player name ("player1,player2, player3"), and can include their title ("player1:title, player2:title"). Any failed player additions will be shown in the text field on completion.

Chat Related

Birthdays - (forum) Author: OneTonTomato

• Pulls birthday data from the Noblesse Oblige Calendar, displaying it in profiles and, when a player's birthday is the current date, as an icon in chat.
• Also adds the chat command "/birthdays" (or "/bdays"), which will display a list of the day's player birthdays.

Chat Functions - (forum) Author: OneTonTomato

• Adds two commands to chat:
  • /tag (temporarily highlights player names)
  • /away (responds to PMs with custom messages).
• Also adds scrollback history (scroll through the last chat you've submitted), nick-complete for player names, and phrase highlighting.

Chat Misfire Stopper - (forum) Author: clump

• Reduces chat command entry misfires by dynamically changing the entry text to red if you are typing a chat command (text starts with a '/').

Tabbed Chat - (forum) Author: CDMoyer

• Adds tabs for channels and PMs to chat.

Time-Less Chat - Author: DaCyclops

• Disables the Chat Timeout automatically.

Mall Related

Bargain Hunter - (forum) Author: OneTonTomato

• Creates links to display the lowest five mall prices for an item from the another player's mall store.

• Saves favorite mall searches, accessible from a drop down menu.

Mall Helper - (forum) Author: Picklish

• Purchase items from one or more mall stores from the mall search screen.

• Creates links to display the lowest five mall prices for an item from the Manage Prices page.

Price Protection - (forum) Author: JHunz

• In the Manage Prices screen, warns you when submitting if any price is under mall minimum by 10% or more (check the checkbox to intentionally underprice).

Quick Mall - (forum) Author: clump

• Adds buttons to speed up mall buying and selling. Also tracks spending history to show relative mall profit.

Sort Mall Activity - (forum) Author: OneTonTomato

• Adds buttons to sort recent mall store activity by time, buyer, total spent, etc.

Combat

• This script chooses choice adventures automatically (either a set number of times or always) after selecting them from the choice adventure page. Primarily meant for use with other auto adventure/attack scripts, but useful anytime you're adventuring in the same (choice adventure heavy) area often.

Click-saver with Counter - (forum) Author: yehman

• Auto-use weapon, item or skill, and auto-adventure.

d0om's Combat UI enhancer Gold - Author: d0om

• All the above plus auto-healing and added compatibility.

Keyboard shortcuts - Author: jaren80

• Adds alt+<x> shortcuts to the attack buttons. Alt-a is attack with weapon, alt-s is item, alt-d is spell.

Klick-saver Plus - (HCO forum KoL forum) Author: yehman (updated by adiabatic)

• Revamped Click-Saver with all previous functions plus some extras.

NC Actionbar - (forum) Author: clump

• Retains the combat action bar (in a limited form) over non-combat and choice adventures.

Run Away Confirmation - Author: RetroFrog

• Adds a confirmation prompt when clicking the run away button.

Skill Casting

Automatic Buff Buyer - Author: SomeStranger

• Creates a button in the account menu to send meat in quantities of 2-9 to Testudinata for free buffs.
• If there is demand I might add links to more buff bots. Let me know if there is a buff bot you would like to automatically send message to.

Charpane Recast - (forum) Author: RetroFrog

• Add an extra cast of a given buff by clicking its effect image in the charpane.

Skill Hiding - (HCO forum) Author: RetroFrog

• This script lets you choose to not display skills on the combat and/or skills page; ctrl-clicking on a list will redisplay all skills (it also tells you this in the hover help, if you forget).
• Configure which skills to hide in the configuration menu,

• Sorts the skills and buffs on the skill page into customizable categories (duplicates or removed items allowed).

• Tracks Dungeons of Doom bang potion effects.

• Adds a text box to each inventory page that allows you to filter the items shown by partial name or regular expression.

Logikol Pricegun - (forum) Author: Adiamante

• A revived version of the original UpUp.us Pricegun
• Calculates the total value of all items a player owns (inventory, Hagnk's, display case, closet, store), and displays an itemized readout.
• Also generates similar readouts for other players' stores and display cases.

Use Acquired Item - (forum) Author: Picklish

• Adds links (use/eat/drink/sell/closet/etc.) for items you acquire as well as to your inventory page.
