Ascension Rewards

Ascension Rewards are items or tattoos you receive after completing an ascension. They are received from the Toot Oriole in the form of a letter from King Ralph XI. If entering a Bad Moon ascension, rewards from the previous ascension will be unavailable for the duration of the run, with the exception of the big rock.

Normal Ascensions

Normal, No path

• You receive one gemstone at random: baconstone, hamethyst, or porquoise.
• You receive the class tattoo of the class you just completed.
• You receive a hollow roman numeral tattoo of how many normal ascensions you have done (up to XI+).
• You receive a disassembled clover.

Normal, Teetotaler

• You receive what you get from a No-Path as well as one tin of Retenez L'Herbe Paté

Normal, Boozetafarian

• You receive No-Path rewards as well as one bottle of single-barrel whiskey

Normal, Oxygenarian

• You receive No-Path awards plus one can of Breathetastic™ Premium Canned Air

Hardcore Ascensions

Hardcore, No-Path

• You receive a pork elf goodies sack containing 5 random gemstones.
• You receive a sparkling class tattoo in addition to the normal tattoo.
• You receive a filled-in roman numeral tattoo according to how many Hardcore ascensions you have done (up to XI+).
• You receive a disassembled clover.
• You receive one of the following items based on your (former) class:

Hardcore, Teetotaler

• You receive the appropriate Hardcore No-Path rewards, as well as 3 tins of Retenez L'Herbe Paté and a crossed-out beer tattoo.

Hardcore, Boozetafarian

• You receive the appropriate Hardcore No-path rewards, in addition to 3 bottles of single-barrel whiskey and a crossed-out food tattoo.

Hardcore, Oxygenarian

• You receive a pork elf goodies sack containing 5 random gemstones.
• You receive a sparkling class tattoo in addition to the normal tattoo.
• You receive a filled-in roman numeral tattoo according to how many Hardcore ascensions you have done (up to XI+).
• You receive a disassembled clover.
• You receive 3 cans of Breathetastic™ Premium Canned Air
• Cosmetically, an oxygen tattoo, and a super sparkling class tattoo become available.
• Instead of a stainless steel item, you receive a more powerful plexiglass item based on your (former) class:

Hardcore, Bad Moon

• When starting a Bad Moon run, all rewards from the previous run will be in a smoldering box (and therefore unavailable while in Hardcore) with the exception of a big rock.
• When completing a Bad Moon run, you receive a Brimstone item based on your (former) class:

• In addition to the effects listed above for each item, there are bonuses for wearing at least one piece of brimstone gear. For n = number of distinct brimstone pieces worn, this bonus appears to be (2ⁿ)% +item, (2ⁿ)% +meat, and (2ⁿ) +ML. Spading suggests that the +meat and +item bonuses apply when only using one piece of Brimstone while the +ML effect requires two or more pieces to be equipped.
