Untinkering the dictionary will not grant you its recipe on the discoveries page. It must be pasted back together first.
On December 4, 2007 the drop location was changed. Previously, it dropped only in the Obligatory Pirate's Cove (in Disguise), after the Orc Chasm Quest was given, as a one-time drop.
